About Sexual Assault

An introductory 3.5 hour workshop about sexual assault designed for professional or community groups. This workshop is a pre­requisite for professionals who wish to enrol for the further SECASA workshop: "Working With Clients Who Have Been Sexually Assaulted".

Working With Clients Who Have Been Sexually Assaulted

A 7 hour workshop designed for professionals who work with clients of all ages in a variety of areas, whose lives have been touched by sexual assault. Participants may also include administrators/managers who need an understanding of how their staff should work with clients in these situations.

Participants should have attended the introductory session "About Sexual Assault" before coming to this workshop.

Presentations

SECASA can talk to your organisation about a range of issues including sexual assault, family violence and online & social media safety (including technologically facilitated violence and children & pornography).

Clinical supervision

SECASA provides clinical supervision for professionals and agencies working with people who have experienced sexual assault and family violence. Clinical supervision is one of the major self­care strategies used by counsellors. It is also known to improve job performance and satisfaction.
