This article is written for women and assumes a male offender, however SECASA acknowledges that both men and women can be survivors of sexual abuse and that offenders can be male and female.

This is the Pastoral Report to the Churches on Sexual Violence Against Women and Children of the Church Community. This report has been written in response to the growing number of unnamed women and children from the churches and the wider community who are gathering the courage to come forwards and speak openly about being sexually assaulted by family members, husbands, friends and strangers.
