Women's Health in the South East (WHISE) is a community based women's health service based in Frankston that is run by women for women in the South East metropolitan region. WHISE provides an extensive range of service and referral information to assist women in taking control of their bodies and health care needs. Services offered by WHISE include a health and information library, education and training for women, community groups/service providers, consultancy and advocacy, referral advice, collaborative workshops and seminars and support for self-help groups.

The South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (SECASA) is based in East Bentleigh, Victoria, and is one of 15 CASA locations throughout Victoria. SECASA provides a number of services relating to sexual assault to adults, children and non-offending family members, including: a 24-hour crisis service, a family violence after hours service, confidential short-term crisis counselling and support for those who have been sexually assaulted recently or in the past, confidential medium-term counselling, telephone consultation facility for hearing impaired clients, urgent medical care and follow up when required, community and professional education, groups for survivors, information and referral, legal advocacy, court reports and a joint legal service.
