Feedback from school staff
"All students were very vocal in their clear approval for your team's superiority both in terms of ability to relate as well as 'message' and planning, (in comparison to some other workshops held in the school)".
Feedback from both students and school staff has been almost completely positive. It would appear that, wherever staff have been involved in the workshops, they recognise the benefits of an outside agency working with their students:
"It is really good to get presenters from outside the College as they show different attitudes and interpretations to the teachers".
"Feedback from the students indicated the material you presented was relevant, interesting and accessible. In fact students were inspired to seek work in the area".
Also, the benefits of using a youth focused peer-education facilitation team drew comment:
"You certainly seemed to engage the students well, and the feedback from staff and students has been very positive".
Finally, there were a number of remarks made, which have been followed through, regarding ongoing commitment from the schools to the program:
"We will definitely request the program take place in our school once again next year".
