The parents or carers group

A support and information group for parents or carers of children who have been sexually assaulted.
A supportive environment in which to discuss and learn about a variety of topics that include managing your child, family members and others. Explore ways of coping and looking after ourselves.

Art Therapy

This is an Art Therapy group for adult female survivors of sexual assault.
Never done anything like this before? Come and join in a nurturing and supportive group that will explore your thoughts and feelings through the use of various art mediums. Have a go and don't be afraid to have some fun.

Young people and children's group

Support and information groups for (a) children and (b) young people who have been sexually assaulted.
Creative and fun ways to help explore some (at times) difficult issues and meet some special friends along the way.

Dance Therapy group

Dance Therapy groups for women survivors of sexual assault.
A supportive and creative way to integrate mind and body, with a focus on using movement to articulate thoughts and feelings. Creative workshop days are also offered.

The partners group

A support and information group for partners of women or men who have experienced sexual assault in their life.
Discuss a variety of issues and topics as they relate to you and your partner. Explore impact on relationship(s), ways of coping, new strategies and support.

Adult women survivors group

A support group for adult women survivors of childhood sexual assault.
Have you had some counselling but would now like to meet other women who might be facing similar issues as yourself? Our groups are informative and supportive, and are conducted in a confidential manner.

A support group for women whose partners/loved ones have been sexual offenders

Have you been able to talk to anyone about what this has meant for you? Come to this supportive and confidential group and meet with women who will understand your feelings.

Information sessions

Would you like to know more about the legal system as it relates to sexual assault, or the role of the Department of Human Services? Do you have questions about counselling, or maybe just want to know, 'where to from here?' These and other topics are discussed via informative day sessions (or evening sessions if there is a sufficient number of people).

Adult male survivors group

A support group for male survivors of childhood sexual assault.
A caring and confidential environment to discuss and learn about a variety of topics such as dealing with the past, family, relationships, ways of coping and nurturing ourselves.

Sexuality workshops

Sexuality workshops for adult female or male survivors of sexual assault.
Confidential and supportive environment where trained counsellors assist with learning and discussion topics related to sexuality, relationship and communication issues.

Adult gay or bisexual survivors group

Support and information group for gay or bisexual survivors of sexual assault.
A confidential and supportive environment in which to explore relevant issues together such as impact of the assault on your life, sexuality, effect on relationships, ways of coping, developing a positive sense of self for your future.
