County or Supreme Court - Trial

After the committal court stage, the case is heard by a Judge and jury in the County or Supreme Court. It is up to the jury to decide if the accused is guilty or not. The Judge's role is to make decisions on matters of law such as appropriateness of evidence. The Judge is also the one who will impose a sentence if the accused is found guilty.
