The Family Court hears cases relating to access, custody and property settlement. Cases are heard by a Judge. The Applicant is another name for the lawyers. It is the lawyers who apply for judgments on behalf of their clients. The Associate is also a lawyer. The monitor is the one who assists with recording the proceedings.
