You might find it hard at school.

Home: Family & Friends: For Family and Friends: Book for 6 to 10

Some children find school really hard when they have been hurt. It can be hard to do your work when you keep thinking about what has happened to you. If you can tell a grown up then they can speak to your teachers so that they can understand better how to help you.

Who else needs to know what has happened to you? You can talk to the grown ups who look after you about who should be told. Remember that it is the person who hurt you who has done the wrong thing, NOT you.

If you need to talk to anyone about these things please call:

  • The Kids Helpline on 1800 551 800
  • CASA on 1800 806 292
