What do I do now?

Home: K to 12: For Children: A bunch of questions kids asked

The most important thing to do now is to find an older person that you trust - a teacher, a family member, a parent of one of your friends, or a police person - and tell them about the unwanted touching (sexual abuse). If you are still being touched or sexually abused, it is important to tell someone so that it can stop. You might have to tell more than one person to get the best help. There is lots of information about what to do and who can help on this site.

If you need to talk to anyone about these things please call:

  • The Kids Helpline on 1800 551 800
  • CASA on 1800 806 292
