Centres Against Sexual Assault

Centres Against Sexual Assault provide free and confidential services to all victims of sexual assault, including issues related to medical and legal options. There are 15 different CASAs throughout Victoria in metropolitan and regional areas. Victoria Police is responsible for investigating crimes committed in Victoria. There are specialist police units, known as Sexual Offences & Child Abuse Units (SOCA Units), that are staffed by police trained and experienced in responding to reports of sexual assault. There are 31 SOCA Units across the state and your local police station will be able to give you contact details of the nearest SOCA Unit.

Crime Stoppers is a community based initiative which encourages members of the public to provide information (anonymously if they wish) to the police regarding criminal activity if you know anything about drink spiking or any other criminal activity please ring 1800 333 000.

It is your choice as to whether you report this matter to police or not, however please keep in mind that it is always better from an investigation point of view to make a report as soon as possible.
